This incredible recent abduction case was shared by U.S. Army First Sergeant and veteran, “CJ” (pseudonym). Initially, his report was submitted to NUFORC; later, he recounted his story in a phone interview with researcher Linda Moulton Howe and, more recently, to YouTuber Chris Ramsay.
The abduction case of First Sergeant CJ is complex, as it involved not only him but also his family. Additionally, it features characteristics typical of certain abduction cases, such as memory lapses and lost time. What followed, including encounters with non-human beings referred to by CJ as “Emerthers” (who are said to be part of an interdimensional council), is particularly intriguing.
In the days that followed, CJ reported waking up at night to find himself repeatedly drawing geometric patterns and symbols, without consciously remembering how he had started. The investigation and decoding of CJ’s story and drawings were primarily documented through interviews conducted by Linda Moulton Howe.
The symbols were later analyzed by Dr. Horace Drew, who stated that the markings functioned as a multiplex code, interpreting them as containing warnings of an imminent threat to Earth.
The Initial Events
It was June 28, 2015, in Richmond Hill, Georgia. CJ, his wife, two children, a dog, and a cat departed at 5:34 PM, heading to Colorado Springs, Colorado, for a family move. The plan was to drive at night to avoid heat and traffic.
Everything was proceeding normally until something inexplicable happened on Route 16: the family was mysteriously diverted onto US 1, heading toward Wadley, Georgia. Around 1:20 AM on June 29, a massive luminous disc with strange symbols passed over their truck.
When the object disappeared, CJ noticed it was 1:28 AM—although only a few moments had passed in his perception, he and his family had somehow traveled 180 miles inexplicably.
Shocked, they stopped at the Shake Rag Express gas station to regroup. The GPS had gone haywire and took them along unknown routes toward Atlanta, avoiding US 1. CJ and his family continued driving, exhausted, until sunrise at 6:30 AM.
An hour later, at 7:30 AM, they found a motel where they could finally sleep, still reeling from what they had experienced.
In the following days, CJ began noticing unexplained memory lapses and lost time. Events he could not clearly remember left him uneasy. Then came the dreams and visions: he found himself in the presence of beings who identified themselves as “Emerthers,” members of an interdimensional council.
These encounters transformed him; a compulsion began to dominate his life. He started drawing geometric patterns and symbols repeatedly, as if recording instructions or messages that only he could understand.
The sergeant reported that these symbols appeared automatically, almost like a language flowing from his mind onto the paper. Each stroke seemed to carry its own meaning, and he felt unable to stop the process.
The experience with the Emerthers left deep marks: beyond the obsession with the drawings, CJ reported experiencing shifts in his perception of time and reality, as if he had lived through events outside the normal flow of the human world.
To this day, CJ seeks to understand the events of that June night in 2015, while trying to balance his family and military life with the impact of encounters that defy any conventional explanation.
The Symbols and Codes
As mentioned, CJ began “receiving in his mind” symbols, codes, and geometric patterns without knowing how or why. This behavior caught the attention of Dr. Horace Drew, who began studying these drawings, seeking to interpret and translate them.
In an article titled “A new ‘multiplex’ binary code was shown to a UFO contactee, ‘CJ’, in late 2015 or early 2016: could a similar ‘multiplex’ code soon be drawn in crop fields by the same friendly extraterrestrials? And might this new binary code be of interest to our computer industry here on Earth?”, Dr. Drew presented his interpretation of the messages received by CJ.
He described:
This new case was brought to reporter Linda Howe’s attention by John Burroughs, one of the two American servicemen who inspected a small triangular UFO on the ground in Rendlesham Forest, near RAF Bentwaters, England, for about an hour in December 1980. The small triangular UFO they saw (or touched) had a series of symbols on its side resembling Greek mythology.
More recently, in the fall of 2015, John noticed that the symbols he saw on that UFO which landed in England in 1980 appeared similar to other symbols seen by a new military witness, ‘CJ’, on a large UFO flying low during the early hours of June 29, 2015, near Wadley, Georgia.
In addition, there is a similarity between CJ’s account and the Rendlesham Forest UFO incident, as noted by Dr. Drew. There was a second witness in the Rendlesham incident, Airman Jim Penniston, who later claimed to have received a long binary code message telepathically transmitted by the triangular craft.
Penniston described:
It was definitely telepathic. It was like a movie playing in my head. A kind of ‘mind vision.’ Zeros and ones were flashing. Later we discovered that the message was some kind of binary code. To be honest, I struggle even with algebra. I’m not a math person, let alone a computer person. And in 1980, I don’t think we even had computers to use, so it was completely foreign to me.
The next day, Jim wrote the binary code down in 16 pages of a small notebook:
I couldn’t get those images — ones and zeros, zero-zero-zero-one — out of my head. So I felt compelled to write them down.
Similarly, in the case of First Sergeant CJ, he recalls seeing a series of “squares,” “lines,” or geometric structures in his mind, which he later transcribed onto paper — just as Penniston had done in 1980.
“It is dark all the way around, and (mental symbols as squares or lines) are being scrolled from right to left. The symbols are slightly illuminated, like a light blue colour. Whatever has happened to us (my family), it is not a threat. It is more of a warning or preparation for what will come soon. There are other (aliens) that have a bad intent (towards us). These aliens (who contacted me) are doing what they can to help us. It is almost to the point where they are outnumbered.”
“We are going to need to assist (them), and get to where we need to be sooner, in order to stand a chance. We have technology that we need to expand on, but it is being kept from everyone behind closed doors. That (technology) needs to be exposed, and all bright minds need to be involved in future advancement of what we have, and what we need to increase our technical side. We need to be able to improve at a faster rate. It is necessary to expand, and allow all minds to come together, to get things done a little quicker.”
Dr. Drew states that CJ appears to know nothing about “binary codes.” Nor does he seem to understand what these encoded messages mean after translating the binary into English. He simply sees certain symbols as “squares” or “lines” in his mind and then writes these symbols slowly and carefully onto paper. In other instances, he observed “open squares,” “shaded squares,” “thin lines,” and “thick lines,” forming a new type of binary code with four distinct symbols.
The Interpretation of the Codes by Dr. Horace Drew
Dr. Drew had to create slides to try to understand the codes, as the original binary codes are complex and difficult to interpret.
To summarize, the general principles underlying these “CJ” binary codes are:
- Code 1: all squares = 0, all lines = 1
- Code 2: shaded squares = 0, open squares = 1
- Code 3: shaded lines = 0, thin lines = 1
According to Dr. Drew, after accurately translating the first four binary “CJ” codes from 8-bit ASCII into modern English, it is immediately clear that they are mostly “warning messages,” similar to other messages received in crop images since the famous Crabwood binary code of 2002.
The first message suggests that their goal is to “continuously protect humanity over time,” from a base in Nuremberg, Germany, located at latitude 49°27’ North and longitude 11°05’ East. They go on to state that “hidden knowledge” should soon be revealed to “all citizens” so that humanity can survive on Earth.
The message also warns of two hostile alien races: “Greys” from Orion (1,350.3 light-years from Earth) or Zeta Reticuli (39,170 light-years from Earth). The meaning of the final phrase, “Avoid [symbol],” remains uncertain.
The second message warns of an “imminent threat that will soon fall upon the leaders and civilizations of Earth.” Again, they stress that we must “expose and dismantle the hidden knowledge of all citizens” while promoting “safe and controlled joint study for all minds.” They emphasize that our “intellectual progress is essential for collective survival.”
The third message urges us to “embrace this spacecraft threat” and explains that they made an emergency “000 journey” across “[12] light-years” to deliver this information (possibly from the star Tau Ceti). They then enigmatically state that “Ike’s infiltrated citizens are ready,” possibly a subtle reference to the American CIA, supported by President Eisenhower in the 1950s. The message concludes with: “reveal — evolve.”
The fourth message reveals the senders’ identity: “royal EMERTHER warning.” These extraterrestrials call themselves “Emerthers,” and the message apparently comes from their “royal family.” According to ufological folklore, the Emerthers are a friendly (Grey) species trying to protect humans on Earth from interference by other species. They also lead an interstellar “Council of Five.”
They go on to say: “expose foreign technology to all,” meaning “take all high-tech devices you have been secretly studying in places like Area 51 and deliver them to the scientific community for rapid development.” Finally, they reiterate: “evolutionary advancement necessary to avoid domination.” In other words, unless we evolve quickly, we will remain vulnerable to domination by other extraterrestrial species, such as the Greys from Orion or Zeta Reticuli.
Quite amazingly, each message as received by “CJ” also contains a series of “hidden codes”, which are specified by “capital versus lower-case” letters, or in some cases by “deleted” letters.
Their first message uses anomalously capitalized or accented letters to suggest “CHE’cK ALL A.I.” (meaning “artificial intelligence” computers) for “ZORBA” (suggesting “Greek” or Trojan Horse viruses):
Their second message uses anomalously capitalized letters to spell out “EISENHOWER MAJESTIC”, and by a choice of which letter “e” to capitalize, suggests that there will be an “E-threat” soon. Three letters “ILI” were deleted from the word “civilizations” to suggest a Roman number “52”. It was in the year 19-52 that President Eisenhower formed a secret group called “Majestic 12” to take care of UFO matters. The main text says: “Ike’s embedded citizens are ready”.
Their third message uses anomalously capitalized letters to suggest “MAJ 12” and “CIA”, or perhaps “MAJIC 12”. Its last line suggests “Lose or Evolve”.
Their fourth message spells out “EMERTHER” in capital letters, “but I am not sure whether this is a hidden code?”
Clearly these messages are meant to be delivered to “Majestic 12” and the “CIA”. Those Emerther aliens seemingly met both groups in the 1950’s.
They ask us now to do three things: (1) check all computers for Trojan Horse viruses, (2) disclose hidden knowledge to the common people, and (3) expose any high-tech devices, which humans have received from extra-terrestrials, to the general scientific community, in order to promote further rapid development. Otherwise we will be subject to a takeover by unfriendly extra-terrestrials from Orion or Zeta Reticuli.
Quite a set of messages: can you believe they are real? It is good to remain skeptical, however several binary codes which have been drawn in crops say almost the same thing (see below).
After analyzing the first four binary messages, Dr. Drew began investigating their possible origin more deeply, correlating them with other codes found in crop circles and trying to understand who the mysterious Emerthers might be.
According to him, we know relatively little about this race, at least regarding information available to the general public. A drawing made by “CJ” in June 2015 shows five beings resembling the appearance frequently attributed to the Emerthers. If they indeed met President Eisenhower in the 1950s — as UFO folklore suggests — then the presence of Eisenhower’s name in two of the messages received by CJ in 2015–2016 makes perfect sense.
Additionally, a fifth binary code received by CJ in early 2016 revealed an even greater surprise: after converting it from ASCII, Dr. Drew found strange words that, upon investigation, were written in phonetic Sumerian. The message read: “Messenger prophet 01, seeing the intense glow, report to Earth!” — suggesting that CJ might be this “messenger,” tasked with alerting humanity.
Why write in Sumerian? Perhaps some of these Emerthers lived in ancient Sumer or Egypt around 5,000 years ago and wanted to remind us of historical records of their presence. This possibility also relates to the fact that several crop circle pictograms appear to depict beings resembling the Emerthers — especially the famous “Arecibo reply” that appeared in Chilbolton in 2001.
Another important connection: several messages in crop circle codes from England and Italy — including Crabwood (2002) and Turin (2015) — explicitly warned about hostile gray aliens. This aligns perfectly with the Emerthers’ warnings in CJ’s codes, mentioning threats from Orion and Zeta Reticuli.
Interestingly, the star map seen by Betty Hill in 1961 during her abduction was centered on Zeta 2 Reticuli — precisely one of the systems mentioned in the messages as the origin of hostile groups. The same map also featured Tau Ceti, only 12 light-years from Earth, suggested by Drew as a possible home star of the Emerthers, from where they allegedly made an “emergency 12-light-year journey” to warn humanity.
General Conclusions
Despite the detailed study, Dr. Drew acknowledges that it is still impossible to confirm the precise origin or complete authenticity of these five messages. He notes:
- The first message appears to come from a “temporal protection agency” based in Nuremberg, from a distant future.
- The next three likely come from the Emerthers, a purported friendly gray alien race, possibly from Tau Ceti.
- The fifth may be linked to ancient Sumer — possibly related to the Emerthers or beings similar to the Anunnaki.
The fact that CJ reported seeing a large UFO with “Greek” symbols, and shortly afterward received complex binary messages, makes Drew consider it unlikely to be a mere hoax. He also emphasizes that the messages use an unprecedented type of “overlapping binary code,” so complex that it would be extremely difficult for anyone without advanced knowledge to produce.
All the messages show a consistent pattern: urgent warnings, calls to reveal hidden knowledge, the importance of intellectual advancement, and the need to expose secret technologies held by governments — to prevent humanity from becoming vulnerable to hostile extraterrestrial groups.
The codes also include practical alerts, such as:
- Check computers and AIs for “electronic threats” and “Trojan horses.”
- Prepare for potential physical or digital attacks.
Finally, the messages repeatedly reinforce:
- “Reveal — Evolve.”
- “Expose foreign technology to all.”
- “Progress is essential for collective survival.”
