In July 22, a newly created account on the Reddit community posted what were alleged to be videos of UAPs with a new classification, referred to as “Tetra UAPs.” The post was titled “Leaked Skywatcher Videos.”
The publication did not gain significant attention at first, perhaps due to the unusual name given to the UAPs, the nature of the footage, or even the fact that the account had been created on the same day of the post.
Nevertheless, while it was online, the post — which was later removed with the message “Sorry, this post was removed by Reddit’s Legal Operations team” — managed to gather 163 upvotes and over 150 comments.
What stands out is that the footage indeed belongs to the Skywatcher team and had not yet been officially released. The removal by Reddit’s Legal Operations team strongly suggests it was taken down due to copyright violations, further reinforcing the authenticity of the material.
Skywatcher
Skywatcher is an organization dedicated to the research and analysis of UAPs that has been gaining prominence on the international stage. Officially founded in early 2025, with its domain registered in December 2024, the initiative brings together former military personnel, intelligence professionals, and renowned scientists aiming to study the phenomenon rigorously and transparently.
Among the most well-known members of the team are whistleblower Jacob Barber, a former U.S. Air Force serviceman known for his revelations about UAP recovery operations, and Dr. Garry Nolan, a Stanford scientist widely respected for his research related to the subject. The project also involves James Fowler, a technology specialist, and entrepreneur Alexander Klokus, who is responsible for the official registration of the platform.
Skywatcher’s mission is clear: to apply cutting-edge science and reliable protocols to capture and analyze UAP data. To achieve this, the team developed the Skywatcher Discovery Framework, an investigation system divided into six levels ranging from initial observation to scientific validation and public disclosure of confirmed cases.
Beyond methodology, the organization heavily invests in technology. It uses arrays of multiple sensors, electro-optical and infrared cameras, mobile radars, and radio frequency sensors—all integrated with artificial intelligence systems to record and classify anomalous events. Since late 2024, the group claims to have cataloged at least nine distinct classes of UAPs.
Skywatcher also maintains communication with official U.S. government bodies. Known interactions include contact with the All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office (AARO) and informal briefings given to members of the U.S. Congress, including aides to Senator Marco Rubio.
Dr. Garry Nolan’s involvement has added further credibility to the project, which has attracted attention not only from the UFO community but also from academic circles. However, as with any initiative related to this field, Skywatcher also faces skepticism.
Part of the skepticism regarding the organization’s work can be attributed to issues involving the alleged “psionics“, such as Jacob Barber himself.
In January of this year, Skywatcher released its first project, titled “Skywatcher Part I: The Journey Begins,” a mini-documentary which, according to its own description on YouTube, states:
“We spoke with insiders involved in alleged UAP recoveries from crashes — and with individuals who claim to be able to summon unidentified objects in the sky. Featuring interviews with Alex Klokus, Jacob Barber, Dr. Garry Nolan, Dave Grusch, Colonel Karl Nell, and Fred Baker, this episode takes you from behind-closed-doors conversations to a real field experiment. Then, in real time, the team attempts to replicate the summoning process. What happens next… is unbelievable.”
In this first part, footage was shown that allegedly captured UFOs, including some shaped like an “egg,” supposedly summoned by members of Skywatcher themselves. Nothing very spectacular, but it did seem to show — whether summoned or not — unidentified flying objects hovering over the “sensitive location” chosen by the organization’s team.
The journey continued, and on April 7, “Skywatcher Part II: Mapping the Unknown” was released, presenting a narrative of scientific validation of the phenomenon, a “neuromeditative interaction,” and also “a taxonomy for UFOs, featuring nine different classes.”
“Skywatcher Part II is based on the narrative of Jake Barber and the Skywatcher team, who seek to scientifically validate the existence of UFOs through electromechanical signaling (“machine call”) and neuromeditative interaction (“psionic call”). This episode features James Fowler, who leads Skywatcher’s technology team.
The episode also defines a taxonomy for UFOs, presenting nine different classes, including the Tic Tac, the jellyfish, and the manta ray. The experience also follows the team in the field, including Dr. Garry Nolan, Alex Klokus, Matt Pines, and others, as they collect additional data on UFOs.”
On May 28, the team announced the launch of a new series of short videos exploring the behavior of various classes of UAPs. In a post on the organization’s official account on X, they said that each video offers a focused and selective view of what the team is observing, “one class at a time.”
On the same day, the “Tetra” class was introduced. This class of UAP is described as “characterized by a falling or spinning motion, observed in the air without any visible means of propulsion. Coordinated formations are also common, consistently appearing on electro-optical (EO) and infrared (IR) sensors.”
The short video they presented showed some footage but nothing very detailed.
‘Tetra’ UAP Leak

Indeed, the Skywatcher team was not expecting their footage to be leaked. They were clearly planning a more detailed release of the alleged new UAPs in a new mini-documentary or even at a private event intended for a paying audience.
The footage leaked on Reddit on the 23rd has now come to the attention of journalist Ross Coulthart, who made a post questioning who was behind the leak and what the motive might be.
“It appears someone has leaked videos hacked from @SkywatcherHQ. As @BillyKryzak details, they clearly show a new class of UAP, the Tetra. Begs Q: why is someone leaking footage from the Skywatcher research? For what end?”
Ross’s post tagged ProPixel Video Analysis and Research, an account specializing, among other things, in analyzing UFO/UAP videos, which has already begun its observations and comparisons on the leaked material.

“Great stuff!” said Dr. Garry Nolan when tagged in the post. But is there really something that great, either in the leak itself or in the images allegedly showing UAPs captured by the Skywatcher team?
It seems this is going to spark a lot of debate. Although the Reddit post was removed through legal action, someone made a copy of the videos and added them in the comments.
For those who want to access the videos from the removed post, here it is—just scroll down the page a bit.
“Look honey! It’s more undefined shapes and flashing lights!”
“Must be aliens! Hand me another beer…”
