Recently, the skies of some countries around the world have shown unusual events. In Denmark, Australia, and Poland, reports of unidentified drones and supposedly anomalous lights were recorded.
In Denmark, on September 22, Copenhagen Airport temporarily suspended flights after sightings of unidentified drones. According to ABC News, a skilled pilot reportedly flew two or three large drones over the airport on Monday night, causing the airspace to be closed for several hours. The police stated that the perpetrator remained unknown, while seemingly demonstrating their capabilities over Scandinavia’s largest airport.
Authorities chose not to shoot down the drones, considering the risk too high, as the airport was crowded with passengers, planes were on the runways, and there were fuel depots nearby.
A video of one of these drones (apparently the only one) was posted on social media platform X and has sparked debates. Some believe that it is actually a single-engine airplane, which, according to reports, failed to land at Copenhagen Airport and ended up circling the area.

The supposedly anomalous lights that have been reported in Poland since yesterday are probably part of Russian military exercises. Apparently, the same type of phenomenon was witnessed last year and reported in Polish media.

Regarding the incursions of unidentified drones in Poland, Liberation Times published an article with announcements made by the authorities. The Danish police confirmed that the armed forces were activated following sightings over Copenhagen Airport.
Denmark’s Prime Minister, Mette Frederiksen, stated that the flights appeared to have the intention to “disturb and create unrest” and did not rule out possible Russian involvement:
“I cannot in any way rule out that it is Russia. We have seen drones flying over Poland that should not have been there. We have seen activity in Romania. We have seen violations of Estonian airspace. We have seen hacker attacks on European airports over the weekend. Now, there have been drones in Denmark, and it seems there were also drones in Oslo and Norway. Therefore, I can only say that, in my opinion, this is a serious attack on Denmark’s critical infrastructure.”
Meanwhile, the site Airlive published yesterday:
“Danish authorities are investigating three vessels that may have launched drones towards Copenhagen. The Danish state broadcaster TV2 reports that three vessels are suspected of launching the large drones that paralyzed Copenhagen Airport, forcing the cancellation or diversion of 150 flights last night.
The investigation into the unprecedented drone attack on Copenhagen Airport identified three suspect vessels that were positioned in strategic locations during Monday night’s incident, which paralyzed one of the busiest aviation hubs in Northern Europe.”
Strange Lights Spotted in the Skies of Australia
In the Oceania country, there have also been recent reports of unusual lights in the skies. According to an article published yesterday by ABC.net, unusual lights were sighted in the Mid West of Western Australia, stretching from the coast to hundreds of kilometers inland, sparking speculation about unidentified aerial phenomena.
The Mid West Port Authority suggested that the lights could be caused by light refraction from ships.
However, the Perth Observatory stated that the sightings extend far beyond the ocean, with reports coming from inland areas in the northern Goldfields region.
The Perth Observatory said it received multiple reports of lights over a wide area during the same period, including locations further inland.
Spokesperson Matt Woods said that the spread and number of sightings were unusual:
“We had sightings in places as far east as Laverton, Mount Magnet, and Cue, all the way to the coast. It’s very confusing.”
Woods said he first checked the flight radar for aircraft activity but found nothing:
“Is something being tested? A company testing drones or something new in development? It will be very interesting to find out what it is.”
Lights Over the Baltic Sea in Poland

Lights over the Baltic Sea drew attention on the night of the 22nd. Numerous witnesses and recordings captured the same phenomenon. The objects remained visible in the sky for about 7 minutes, from 7:20 PM to 7:27 PM. The sighting was even reported in cities located nearly 90 kilometers from the coast.
The Facebook page Paranormalna Polska appears to have been the first Polish media outlet to announce the phenomenon. Their post quickly spread, and numerous witnesses began sharing photos and videos of the phenomenon.
A first video gained considerable attention. In it, a cluster of yellowish lights can be seen in the sky. They do not display a defined pattern, such as the triangular shape observed in many orb sightings.

However, apparently, in the case of Poland, this does not seem to be anything potentially anomalous. This is because, in addition to several photographs and images published on the Polish page, users also shared news links that appear to clarify what happened.
They Are Likely Russian Military Exercises

This is because, on September 23 of last year, around the same time as this year, mysterious lights appeared over the Baltic Sea, drawing the attention of residents and observers in Poland. The Polish site trojmiasto.pl began investigating, consulting experts and authorities about what could explain the unusual phenomenon.
The lights remained visible for several tens of minutes, appearing before 7 PM, and could be seen from the Tricity region as well as from Hel and Władysławowo. While some speculated about drones or atmospheric anomalies, authorities such as the Navy, Border Guard, rescue services, representatives from the oil company Orlen, and astronomers were consulted to try to determine the origin of the phenomenon.
Despite these efforts, no definitive explanation was found. The site compiled all available clues and observations but noted some inconsistencies. A police operation took place in the Gdansk Bay area that night, but the timing and location of the operation did not match the sightings, although there was partial overlap.
But four days after the news was released, on September 27, 2024, the same site published an explanation of what had occurred. According to them, they obtained confirmation of the event:
“We have confirmation that the lights visible over the Baltic Sea last Friday were part of Russian military exercises. The phenomenon, also visible in the Tricity region and surroundings, was reported by the Russian media, reassuring residents of Kaliningrad that it was not a UFO but an aerial exercise. Our reader, in the Tricity Report, had previously calculated that the source of the lights was located in Russian waters.”
The Russian media also covered the story, confirming that the military had conducted the exercises and providing details that explained the phenomenon.
Thus, it seems clear that what has been observed in the skies over Poland this week.
Thus, the only sightings that remain a mystery are those in Denmark and Australia. Of the two, the one in Denmark is far more concerning, as it could involve a violation of the nation’s airspace by another party.
As for Australia, this one, being UAPs, does not worry us. After all, they fly over the skies around the world every day and, so far, have not caused any problems, right?
