An intriguing event mobilized Turkish authorities in an extensive search operation for an unidentified flying object (UFO) that inexplicably disappeared. The phenomenon was recorded in the morning of Tuesday (21) when radar systems detected an unusual object flying over the skies of Kastamonu province.
As the incident unfolded, local authorities monitored the radar for additional information about the mysterious object. However, it suddenly vanished without a trace as it approached a dense forested area near the village of Kirisoglu.
The response involved a coordinated operation by various government institutions, including the Turkish Air Force, Kastamonu Provincial Gendarmerie Command, the Provincial Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD), the Gendarmerie Search and Rescue (JAK) teams, and commando units. Teams were immediately dispatched to thoroughly search the area.
Although experts are still analyzing the data, the nature of the object remains unknown, heightening the mystery. Eyewitness accounts and official reports have yet to clarify the event.

The object was first detected by radar at around 12:27 a.m. local time (9:27 p.m. GMT). Shortly after, it vanished from radar in the forested Kirisoglu region of the Kastamonu’s central district.
Authorities quickly mobilized to investigate, with thermal drones deployed to aid the search.
Teams have been utilizing advanced technology, including thermal-equipped drones, while commandos and other ground forces have been scanning the terrain on foot. Searches have also extended to the Ilgaz Mountain region, located on the border between Kastamonu and Cankiri provinces.

No trace of the object has been found so far. Officials suspect the unidentified object could be an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV).
It is interesting to note that authorities mention the object might be an UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle), especially considering the recent wave of mysterious drones flying unauthorized over the airspace of various nations. This type of incident has been reported recently in countries such as the USA, the UK, Denmark, Germany, and Sweden.
Therefore, the possibility that the object is indeed an UAV seems more plausible.
