At the end of last year, a NASA aerospace engineer made shocking revelations that went unnoticed by the public and have only now come to light, sparking the curiosity of the entire ufology community.
These are the claims made by NASA aerospace engineer Richard Banduric. Richard Banduric, CEO of Field Propulsion Technologies, recently appeared as a guest on the Ecosystemic Futures podcast (episode 69, duration 1h57), where he shared quite surprising information about reverse engineering technologies not created by humans. Another name added to a list that grows longer each month.
Richard Banduric, CEO of Field Propulsion Technologies, holds academic and professional degrees in electrical engineering and mathematics. Approximately 40 years ago, he was co-owner of a company specialized in reverse engineering advanced technologies. Through this work, he encountered materials and phenomena that seemed significantly more advanced than contemporary human technology. This exposure eventually led him to participate in secret programs where he sought to determine if the US government was utilizing such advanced technologies. His conclusion was that these technologies were not being used by the government.
Later, Richard worked on several projects, including collaborations with organizations such as DARPA. One project explored the behavior of longitudinal forces in composite conductors—materials exhibiting properties intermediate between conductors and insulators. The research suggested that small, closely spaced particles could generate substantial external forces when accelerated charges moved between them. This finding aligned with similar effects observed by other researchers, such as Anar, and formed the basis for a propulsion application funded by the NSF. Richard’s approach involved using nanoparticles and charge tunneling instead of traditional methods like large capacitor plates.
His research expanded to examining materials with unique properties, including cylindrical antenna configurations that potentially emitted new forms of radiation, such as electro-scalar radiation. Experiments indicated that specific antenna designs could generate electric fields associated with oscillating scalar potentials, a discovery that challenges traditional electromagnetic theories. Richard suggested these phenomena might indicate previously unmeasured fields, with the Air Force expressing interest in exploring their applications.
Richard’s work also involved examining advanced technologies and materials linked to unidentified craft. Observations included phenomena such as electronic shutdowns near these crafts, likely caused by associated electric fields. Additionally, analysis of triangular craft suggested advanced camouflage mechanisms that projected the environment behind the craft onto the front, effectively bending light around the object.
His research increasingly focused on metamaterials capable of generating forces under specific conditions. For example, applying direct current to these materials produces accelerated charges and significant internal forces even at relatively low currents. These discoveries have important implications for future propulsion technologies.
Subsequent investigations revealed advanced materials exhibiting “intelligent” properties, such as self-destruction when exposed to unauthorized examinations, leaving isotropic dust indicative of extraterrestrial origin. These materials, composed of highly organized nanoparticles, demonstrated remarkable capabilities, including reconfiguration, environmental adaptation, and self-repair. Experiments showed these materials could cool surfaces and reduce mass, suggesting they are centuries ahead of current human technology.
Richard postulated that such materials, widely distributed around the globe, could indicate external manipulation of humanity by advanced entities. The apparent computational capabilities of these materials suggest they can communicate and adapt their functions, raising profound questions about their purpose and origin. He emphasized that, although these materials remain elusive, they are still detectable by experts with specialized knowledge.
The whistleblower did not know who was spreading these objects around the world, but believed they were different from the debris pieces specialists recovered from crashed spacecraft and that they might be part of a secret sensor network.
Banduric added that the U.S. government and private research groups have found many of these devices and were trying to uncover their secrets. However, he had no physical evidence of their existence.
“The kind of thing I observed was something as small as a metal shard that reconfigured itself depending on where it was. It camouflaged itself and tried to blend into the environment,” he revealed.
“These are really curious types of materials. That’s how we could say they were extraterrestrial, because these things were not just decades ahead of us, but hundreds of years ahead,” Banduric said in the December 2024 podcast.
Regarding why some advanced group might be spreading tiny objects as part of a global monitoring system, the engineer claimed extraterrestrials might be trying to influence human society.
“They have all kinds of functions. This really implies that maybe this group is manipulating our species,” Banduric warned in his first public comments.
Since the 2024 podcast, he and other guests, including UFO researcher Hal Puthoff and former NASA consultant Dr. Anna Brady-Estevez, have continued to share details of humanity’s attempt to reverse-engineer alien technology.
He added that it was still possible to acquire these camouflaged devices spread around the world, but his access had been cut off by the groups he worked with after he decided to make public what he knew in 2024.
Banduric was originally recruited by the U.S. Department of Defense and the Air Force to work on confidential projects aimed at analyzing crashed UFO systems.
However, he noted that these technologies were not being used by the U.S. government. Instead, non-governmental organizations (NGOs) were studying most of the recovered alien technology.
“Some of the work I did with NGOs was really exciting. But one of the other things that comes up is that these individuals, or whoever this group holding this advanced technology is, probably don’t want us to reverse-engineer what they are doing,” Banduric explained.
To prevent other groups or governments from using these materials, scientists discovered that the unknown metals could break down into tiny particles that could not be reactivated.
“They were smart materials. If you looked at them and tried to reverse-engineer them, they would turn to dust,” the engineer revealed.
“They did this in one or two minutes. Then it was possible to take the dust, send it away, and perform isotropic analysis. It was found to be extraterrestrial,” he revealed.
According to Banduric, NGO scientists continued to face these problems, suggesting the technology was carefully built so that no one could duplicate what they found.
Besides the self-destruct capability, scientists examining these materials also discovered that they could bend light around them, projecting the image of whatever was behind the extraterrestrial material to the front, so no one could see what was there, Banduric said.
Along with potentially trillions of smaller objects spread worldwide, the former government engineer revealed that the U.S. was aware of giant triangular craft that might also use this camouflage technology.
The giant triangles Banduric referred to have been described by many people reporting UFO sightings over the years.

The engineer noted that they “were not ours,” implying the triangles scientists were observing were extraterrestrial craft that seemed to vanish after being sighted.
“The NGOs I worked with were trying to figure out how these large craft, which people call triangles, could disappear in the blink of an eye,” Banduric explained.
“These triangles were taking whatever was behind them and projecting it in front of them, which could be equivalent to bending light rays around the actual triangle,” he added.
Although Banduric did not disclose how many of these crafts had been seen or were in U.S. government possession, another guest on the Ecosystemic Futures podcast did.
Dr. Hal Puthoff noted that the U.S. military has recovered and has been studying at least 10 extraterrestrial craft since the 1940s.
