In the skies, where every light and movement usually has a clear explanation, a commercial pilot captured something that completely defies the manual. While in flight, he filmed luminous orbs that appeared to be leaving Earth’s atmosphere — an unusual occurrence even for someone with thousands of flight hours.
According to his account, what stood out the most was the similarity to UAP movements previously disclosed by authorities: abrupt lateral shifts, rapid vertical ascents, and pulsating light of varying intensity, all incompatible with satellites, meteors, or any known aircraft.
In recent years, reports from commercial pilots about encounters with UAPs have become increasingly frequent, drawing the attention of the scientific community, the press, and even official agencies. Trained to identify and distinguish between aircraft, satellites, and other conventional objects, these professionals are among the most qualified witnesses to report anomalies in the sky. Now, a new case adds to this intriguing collection.
According to the pilot’s own account, the orbs caught his attention due to their resemblance to officially released UAP behavior. “They exhibited irregular movements — lateral shifts, vertical ascents, pulsating light intensity — inconsistent with the known behavior of satellites or aircraft.”
On the night of August 5, 2025, a commercial pilot flying over the city of Guapé, Minas Gerais, Brazil, captured striking footage of several luminous orbs moving erratically across the night sky. The filming took place from approximately FL360 (36,000 feet), with the camera pointed northwest, during a clear night with low light pollution.
The observed objects appeared as white orbs and displayed a series of unusual behaviors. Estimates suggest the orbs were possibly above FL450 (45,000 feet) and many miles away from the aircraft. Their speed was extremely high, far beyond the capabilities of any known conventional aircraft. Additionally, the pilot noticed changes in the light color emitted by the orbs, which moved irregularly — with abrupt lateral shifts, rapid vertical ascents, and pulsating light intensity, features previously associated with UAPs in official reports.
This type of sighting carries weight as it was made by a commercial pilot, a professional trained to identify satellites, aircraft, and other common aerial phenomena. In recent years, such reports have increased, drawing the attention of the scientific community and official agencies.
The pilot submitted his report along with the footage to the National UFO Reporting Center (NUFORC) on August 6, 2025, adding a new and intriguing case to the growing collection of documented encounters with unidentified aerial phenomena.
Four videos were submitted with the report, three of which were quite short, with two lasting no more than three seconds. However, one of the videos, the one shown above, is 24 seconds long and more clearly shows the phenomenon. Below is another video with a duration of 7 seconds.
When observing the videos, we can notice that the orbs seem to be coming out of the Earth heading towards space. They also appear to fade shortly after, as soon as they emerge from between the clouds. They even seem to be launched by a huge cannon. Their random way of ascending, zigzagging, and their speed catch the attention.
In the report, the pilot said:
“I was flying at FL360 over the rural area of Guapé, Minas Gerais, Brazil, on the night of August 5, 2025, at approximately 8:33 PM local time. Looking towards the northwest horizon, I observed several bright orbs well above the aircraft’s altitude. They exhibited irregular movements — lateral shifts, vertical ascents, pulsating light intensity — inconsistent with the known behavior of satellites or aircraft. There were no navigation lights or beacon patterns visible. The sky was clear, and the lights persisted for several minutes. I recorded the event in time-lapse using a smartphone camera. I am a commercial pilot and can confirm this was neither a celestial object nor standard air traffic. The phenomenon was similar to some officially released UAP videos.”

Also pilot. Just looks like satellite reflections to me.
