Yesterday, August 7, a video was posted by a user on the subreddit r/UFOs, the largest UFO community on Reddit. From the start, the footage caught people’s attention, and as hours passed, interest only grew, now totaling over 24,000 upvotes and more than 3,500 comments.
The video shows an elongated but thin object that was accidentally captured by a man while he was playing frisbee with his dog in the mountainous region of Malvern Hills, in western England.
According to the post, the recording was made on August 5. Andrew Clifton, the man who filmed it, was walking his dog in Malvern Hills, a mountain range located in western England. While filming short clips with his phone as he threw a frisbee for his dog, he accidentally recorded the unidentified object. Upon returning home and beginning to edit the footage to share on his Facebook profile, he noticed something unusual in one of the clips.
He was using the slow-motion mode on his iPhone. In one of the clips, an object can be seen approaching from a great distance, performing an unusual maneuver resembling a curve, then straightening its trajectory and continuing forward. In slow motion, the object moves at an incredible speed, making it difficult to accurately estimate its velocity. The object resembles a “rod” and does not appear to be large or thick.
Several hypotheses have been raised regarding its nature. Some suggested it could be a fast-moving insect, like a dragonfly; others believe the object might be an arrow flying through the air, shot by a hunter or an archery practitioner.

The image, which has already gone viral, caught the attention of video analyst Billy Kryzak, who shared an initial analysis of the footage on his X account, ProPixel Video Analysis and Research. Billy Kryzak has been gaining recognition over recent times for analyzing UAP videos suggested by his followers and other users on the platform.
He published an analysis of the Malvern Hills footage just a few hours ago, in a video lasting nearly nine minutes. Billy Kryzak investigated the footage and initially reached some conclusions indicating that, so far, what we are seeing is indeed a UFO.
AI was initially ruled out, as was the hypothesis that the object could be an arrow. Regarding the possibility that some artificial intelligence program was used to produce the image, the analyst stated that he found no characteristic markers indicating the use of AI in the footage; according to him, “all typical signs of AI manipulation are missing.”
As for the possibility of it being an object like an arrow, he explained that the inertial change in direction the object makes rules out this hypothesis: “I don’t think it’s an arrow based on that initial curve. That curve represents a significant inertial change in direction.”
This is pretty incredible….
A guy and his dog in the UK capture slow motion footage of a UAP. Extremely compelling data in this clip.

Still regarding the possibility of it being an arrow, the analyst posted an image along the object’s path in the video and stated: “For those debating whether this is an arrow or not… that curve at the beginning is very hard to attribute to an arrow. At least, I can’t see how the physics would work here…”
Of course, the initial analysis did not convince (and is not expected to convince) everyone. In one message, a user suggested the possibility that the object was a “dry blade of grass stuck to the base of the frisbee, thrown off by centrifugal force and then blown back by the wind,” which some found to be a plausible hypothesis, while others did not.
The fact is that the footage has just emerged, and analyses are still ongoing. In reality, many possibilities remain open. The apparent size of the object, as well as its thickness, do not immediately convince that it is a UFO, such as the well-known “cigar-shaped” type frequently reported and sighted in the UFO community.
A similar case occurred when Sam Chortek and Jimmy Chappie, in 2016 in Beaver, Utah, captured an impressive unidentified flying object while flying their drone in a mountainous area.
The drone was flying low, headed toward a mountain, when suddenly, a long and considerably thick object (resembling a typical cigar-shaped UFO) appeared in the background and passed at very high speed near the drone.
Some consider and believe that what we see in the footage, as well as in the Malvern Hills video, is a UFO. However, regarding the Beaver, Utah footage, subsequent analyses indicated that it was most likely a peregrine falcon.
In the analysis, the author used DeFMO, an AI designed for “fast-moving objects,” which interpolates data to blur rapidly moving objects. This demonstrated that, in reality, we are not dealing with a UFO but rather a misidentification caused by a bird.
The question remains: is what we see in the Malvern Hills footage, as well as in the one from Beaver, Utah, truly a UFO? Or are we simply being deceived by our own eyes, misled by the speed of the objects and the lack of clearer, more detailed recordings? Until more concrete evidence emerges, the doubt remains, challenging both our perception and skepticism.
