There are many types of videos showing UFOs in activity on the Moon. The overwhelming majority are fake, made using editing and CGI. Still, it is reasonable to expect that this phenomenon could also manifest itself on our natural satellite. After all, considering that part of it seems to be intelligent and non-human, it wouldn’t be surprising if such occurrences happened there.
If we imagine that certain civilizations are exploring the cosmos, just as we are, and do not want to be publicly recognized, there would be no better place than a natural satellite, like our Moon, to use as a stopover, a bridge, or even a base to study and monitor the celestial body it orbits.
With that said, the video below clearly shows an unidentified object taking off from a crater on our Moon. The footage is both impressive and unique, revealing just how unusual this phenomenon can be.
On August 3, 2025, at around 9:30 p.m., as usual, amateur astronomer Ericson Caldana set up his Greika 70070 telescope on his balcony and pointed it at our natural satellite.
Used to observing the Moon, he said he had seen some anomalous things in space before, but nothing like this.
In a post on his Instagram account, he described that he had seen several strange objects before, but nothing like this one. Something completely unprecedented!
“I’ve seen several strange objects in the sky, but this one coming out from inside the Moon is unprecedented. Minutes earlier, another object had passed by, similar to the U.S. B-2 Spirit, and right after that came the one in the video.”
In an interview with Brazilian ufologist Edison Boaventura, the astronomer shared more details about this remarkable sighting.
Ericson reported that while observing the Moon with his Greika 70070 telescope and filming with a Moto Edge 30 smartphone, he had a sudden intuition to focus on a specific lunar crater located in the northern part of the Moon. Shortly before he began recording the main event, he had already seen a strange object passing in front of the Moon. According to his description, this first object had a shape similar to a U.S. B-2 Spirit stealth bomber or possibly a satellite.
Unfortunately, he wasn’t able to capture this first sighting, as he hadn’t started recording yet.
When Ericson redirected the telescope toward the crater, he began adjusting the zoom, moving in and out to focus. During one of these zoom-ins, the most remarkable moment occurred:
“When I zoomed in again, I clearly saw a spherical, luminous object emerging from inside the crater. It kept ascending, shining brightly, and seemed to be moving straight away into space.”
However, the recording was abruptly interrupted. The phone, which wasn’t set to record continuously, automatically shut down to save battery life. Ericson tried to film again, but by that time, the object had already moved too far away to be captured.
Curious about what he had witnessed, he researched the crater on NASA’s websites and confirmed its existence. However, he noted that the available images were only static photos, making it impossible to visually confirm the phenomenon.
Ericson believes the event was a combination of luck and intuition, given the precision with which he focused exactly on the crater from which the object emerged.

In addition to the lunar event, Ericson revealed that he has had other intriguing encounters with aerial phenomena over the years.
Comet and Unknown Object: Early one morning, around 5:30 a.m., while observing the clear sky, Ericson managed to film a comet. During the recording, he noticed something unusual below the comet — an unidentified object that stood out in the footage and left him deeply intrigued.
Granja Viana (São Paulo): While living in Granja Viana, Ericson experienced a strong intuition to step outside around 4:30 a.m. When he looked up at the sky, he saw a strange object and immediately began filming.
“As soon as I turned the camera, the lower part of the object went dark, and only the upper part remained visible.”
The phenomenon happened quickly and unexpectedly, reinforcing his belief that there is something intelligent behind these events.
Butantã – New Year’s Eve (2009–2012): Between 2009 and 2012, during a New Year’s Eve celebration, Ericson witnessed a bright object emerging from behind a hill and a building in the Butantã region, near USP (University of São Paulo).
He was with four or five other people, but he was the only one who could see the object, which quickly vanished behind a building.
“At that time, there were no drones like there are today. It was something completely different from any known technology.”

Family Sightings in Peruíbe: Ericson also reported that his parents, who live in Peruíbe, São Paulo — a region known as a UFO hotspot in Brazil — have had similar experiences.
They once managed to take photos of objects that appeared to be craft, but the images showed streaks due to the high speed of the phenomena.
On other occasions, they saw something strange in the sky but were unable to capture it on camera. These experiences further increased the family’s interest in the subject.
Ericson’s View on the Phenomena
Based on years of observation and, most importantly, his biblical studies — spanning from Genesis to Revelation — Ericson has developed a spiritual interpretation of these phenomena.
He believes they are not extraterrestrial beings, but rather spiritual manifestations:
“I believe these phenomena are spiritual beings, demons that materialize and use advanced technology to deceive humanity.”
According to Ericson, this is part of a broader strategy by the enemy with the following goals:
- To confuse people who do not know the Word of God.
- To make them worship a false god, possibly associated with the Antichrist.
- To lead humanity to believe that these beings created the human race and are responsible for all evolution on Earth.
He emphasizes that this is a spiritual battle, citing the biblical idea that “we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities and powers.”
Ericson stresses that these beings are extremely intelligent and cunning, capable of manipulating and using technology in ways we cannot yet comprehend.
“They don’t appear just to show their existence. There’s a purpose behind this, and I believe it’s to deceive and dominate the global population.”
