The surprising statement came during Hal Puthoff’s appearance on the popular podcast The Diary of a CEO, hosted by Steven Bartlett, where Puthoff was joined by Dan Farah, director of the recent documentary The Age of Disclosure.
During the interview, the 89-year-old scientist explained that although he did not have direct access to the bodies, he fully trusts the firsthand accounts provided by his sources.
“People involved in the recoveries said there are at least four types. Four distinct types,” stated the Stanford-trained physicist.
Although Puthoff did not provide specific details about the physical appearance of these beings, the claims align with previous statements made by his close collaborator, Dr. Eric Davis. Last year, Davis reportedly told members of the United States Congress that the recovered species matched the classifications popularly known as Greys, Nordics, Insectoids, and Reptilians.
According to intelligence reports cited by Eric Davis, all of these species share a basic humanoid morphology, with two arms and two legs. The so-called Nordics and Reptilians reportedly stand around 1.80 meters tall. The former are described as bearing a striking resemblance to Northern Europeans, while the latter allegedly possess scaly skin, long tails, and walk upright.
The Greys, meanwhile, match the classic cinematic depiction of short beings with large eyes, while the Insectoids are said to display mantis-like characteristics.
These revelations come amid growing institutional openness in Washington. Former Air Force intelligence officer David Grusch had already testified under oath before the United States Congress in 2023 that the country possessed “non-human biological sites.”
The controversy has intensified further following the recent declassification of hundreds of confidential files approved under the Trump administration, reigniting a debate that had remained suppressed for decades.
Witnesses Fear for Their Lives
Filmmaker Dan Farah also revealed during the same program the enormous pressure and very real fears faced by those allegedly involved in keeping these secrets.
Farah stated that several members of recovery missions spoke with him under strict anonymity, but categorically refused to appear on camera due to fears of extreme retaliation.

The director shared a chilling text message he received from a high-ranking special forces officer just days before filming his testimony:
“After a great deal of reflection and many long conversations with my wife, I decided I would be risking my life if I participated in your interview.”
According to the guests, the historic secrecy surrounding the phenomenon stems from a military strategy that emerged during the Cold War. The fear that rival powers such as China or Russia could gain an advantage through reverse engineering of non-human technology allegedly forced the maintenance of absolute secrecy, which they claim has continued for more than eighty years.
