It is not often that cases this promising emerge within ufology. Truly intriguing visual evidence is rare, and this appears to be one of those incidents that immediately captures attention. The event took place yesterday, Sunday, May 31, 2026, in Campo Largo, Paraná, Brazil.
An influencer posted a series of videos and testimonies to his Instagram Stories showing what he claims was a massive object located a few kilometers from his residence, in an isolated area surrounded by dense vegetation.
In the first recordings, made during daylight hours, @mayk.leao reported that something unusual seemed to be happening in the area. According to him, the animals on the property were visibly agitated and repeatedly staring toward a nearby pasture. At first, he suspected the presence of a jaguar. Nevertheless, he decided to investigate the situation himself.
As he approached the area, he noticed a motorcycle. This led him to believe that it might simply be someone collecting pine nuts or ponkan oranges, fruits cultivated by his mother. He explained that the location is near her home, situated farther down the mountain, and that it is common in rural regions for residents to enter wooded areas to gather fruit.
Temporarily convinced that nothing unusual was taking place, he continued his inspection and came across a section of fencing that had been knocked down, further reinforcing his initial impression that someone had recently passed through the area.
However, in later stories, the situation began to take on a much stranger tone. He commented that the sky was filled with aircraft contrails and speculated that an unusually large number of airplanes or jets had flown over the region throughout the day. Although he offered no explanation for this observation, he made it clear that he considered it out of the ordinary.
Shortly afterward, while near a wooded section of the property, he reported hearing a sound that he initially described as a “growl.” He then reconsidered and stated that it sounded more like “a person choking.” As he attempted to explain what he had heard, he struggled to find an appropriate comparison for the noise.
At another point, he claimed to hear a loud sound very close to the residence, similar to the snapping of an extremely tense rope. Despite the strange nature of the sounds, he repeatedly emphasized that there was something distinctly “human” about them, as though they were being produced by a living, biological creature.
According to the influencer, several followers suggested that the noises may have been caused by a wild boar. He rejected the theory, however, arguing that the property’s security cameras had not recorded the presence of any such animal. Furthermore, he stated that he is very familiar with the sounds made by wild boars and insisted that what he heard bore no resemblance to them.
Later in the afternoon, he posted another story while visibly frightened. In the footage, the strange sound he had been describing throughout the day can be heard with relative clarity.
Then, as nightfall approached and darkness settled over the region, the most intriguing element of the entire sequence emerged. A luminous object appeared in an isolated area above the treetops, displaying oscillating, multicolored lights. To the influencer, the object seemed to provide an explanation for the unusual events reported throughout the day, becoming the focus of a series of recordings that quickly attracted the attention of the Brazilian UFO community.
He then enters a state of frenzy, overcome by a mixture of fear and excitement at what he is seeing and filming.
The witness describes the object as round and makes a point of emphasizing that, in the location where he is, there are no roads or any kind of infrastructure. “There is nothing,” he says, repeatedly stressing that it is a truly isolated area with no access routes.
Although it is not possible to determine the exact dimensions of the object from the recorded images, he believes that visually it appeared to be very large. He also draws attention to the fact that its lights flash constantly, a characteristic often associated with numerous UFO reports documented over the past decades.
In addition, he notes, although this is not clearly visible in the recordings, that the “beautiful” object displayed blue, yellow, green, and various other colored lights. He also reveals that the object was already hovering above a river located in that area.
In another recording, he manages to capture the object with greater clarity and again reinforces that “nobody lives there,” that the object was “very large,” “very beautiful,” and that it remained suspended above the river.
At one point, apparently responding to questions from followers, he dismisses the possibility that a party or event could be taking place in the area. According to him, there was no music at all and the region remained completely isolated. “It is literally above the trees,” he states.
Shortly afterward, in another story, he says that the light began to gradually lose intensity, becoming increasingly faint until it completely disappeared.
In the following minutes, still very frightened and shocked, he tries to process everything he had witnessed. In his understanding, the object remained visible for approximately twenty minutes in the mountainous region and was definitely not an airplane, helicopter, or balloon.
When everything seemed to be over, he posts a new story stating that the phenomenon had returned. This time, he describes the object as red and again of large proportions. Visibly shaken, he runs to try to record it, but nothing appears in the footage captured at that moment.
It is then that his testimony becomes even more intriguing. According to him, the object was inside the river and had emerged from the water before his eyes.
Shortly afterward, he releases a video showing a blinking luminous point in the sky, claiming that the lights were moving away. Throughout his account, he remains convinced that it was something gigantic.
The witness appears to be in a state of true panic due to everything he saw, heard, and experienced that night.
Regarding the property’s security cameras, the influencer clarifies that they unfortunately did not record any of the events, as they are positioned to monitor the ground, animals, and possible intruders, not the sky.
At the request of several followers, he also draws a sketch representing the shape of the observed object, presenting his visual interpretation of what he claims to have seen.
In the following stories, already during the daytime, the influencer returns to the site and shows the area in detail. The images appear to confirm that it is a remote, hard to access, and virtually uninhabited location.
Finally, he begins to reflect on the entire experience, describing the episode as one of the most frightening situations of his life and trying to understand what he believes he witnessed.
The case has been receiving attention from part of the Brazilian UFO community. If it is not an elaborate hoax, some of the elements presented draw the attention of researchers, such as the unusual behavior of animals, the reported sounds, the recorded footage, and the reactions displayed by the witness throughout the events.
In the field of speculation, it can be said that the account may correspond to a genuinely anomalous event. Not only could a possible craft have been present at the location, but also potential occupants. In more daring hypotheses, one might consider the possibility of entities using some form of camouflage while moving through the region.
For now, however, all of these interpretations remain speculative. More in-depth investigations and a careful analysis of the available evidence will be necessary in order for the events to be confirmed, clarified, or eventually dismissed.
